Strava Routes on Technogym Live
Features
Unleash the true potential of the Strava Routes feature available on the Technogym treadmills.

With the Technogym treadmills you can unleash the true potential of the Strava Routes feature, one of the most used and appreciated tools by all Strava athletes.

To access the section dedicated to Strava Routes, you'll have to go to "My Activities" in the main interface Technogym Live App.

In order to do so:

  1. Head to the homepage of Technogym Live;
  2. Select the button located on the top right corner, the one with your picture or your initials;
  3. From the new drawer appeared tap on the yellow button "My Activities", in this way you will be redirected into the Technogym Live area dedicated to monitoring your workouts.

Within this area, you can see all the workouts you've done from week to week, which will include parameters such as duration of the workout, MOVEs gained, kcal burned and km done.

On the right, you can find four vertical icons: the last one represents the official Strava logo, and it is specifically dedicated to Strava Routes.

In this section you have available all the routes that you have decided to record and import from the application or directly from the Strava website.

Keep in mind, however, that in order to import the routes, you must have synchronized first your Strava account  (if you don't know how to synch third-party apps with Technogym App, feel free to check how to do it with this article!).

Here's a list of what you can find into the Strava Routes specific section:

  • All the routes you have done yourself and saved as Strava Route;
  • All the routes you have created with Strava's editor and decided to save;
  • All preset routes made directly by Strava for you that you have decided to save;
  • The function of importing all your GPX tracks to train for your next race:
    On Strava Routes, you can do it directly by pressing on "create new one" > then press on the upload bottom located on the top right. Once the file has been uploaded, you can adjust the waypoints on the map or edit your route preferences as necessary.

To find your routes on the Strava website or app, go to its main menu, then head to Dashboard > My Routes (Maps > Saved , on Strava app). Select Running or Walking to see the routes that can be imported on Technogym Live.

Train on your Strava Routes

Selecting one of the routes on Technogym Live, you will be shown a general overview in which you can see the route you've done with an enlarged view of the map and a graph of the slope.

Pressing on the white button "Start Route", you will start your route, and you’ll be able to cover it replicating the same km, the same speed and slope as shown in the initial overview.

Furthermore, in case you can't see the specific Routes you would like to run, double check that on Strava you have classified it under the category "Running".
(Please consider that after the first synchronization if some changes are made or routes are added on Strava, they may not show up immediately on Technogym Live but it may take up to 24 hours to update).

Then you are ready to go: Technogym Live will take you to an evocative satellite map, where you can relive your journey in real time thanks to gps tracking, which will represent your image as you progress along the way.

Please note that the map can also be viewed in navigator mode, by selecting the button in the upper right corner of the interface.
