Biofeedback on MyRun
Features
Find out about the Biofeedback tool in order to keep track of your stride and your cadence.

Whenever you start a Free Training or a Goal Workout on your MyRun (if you want to learn more about these workouts, press here) Technogym Live App will redirect you into a new interface, where you'll be able to monitor several parameters related to your workout.

Within this interface, you can also find a very specific section: Biofeedback.

Biofeedback is an essential tool for all the athletes, since it will let you monitor two factors: cadence and stride.

Cadence calculates the number of steps per minute you are taking, and is available in the panel at the bottom left, the one with a small cursor.

If the cursor is well centered, it implies that your cadence respects that of the majority. If it tends to move along the top or the bottom edges, it means that you are maintaining a lower or higher cadence than the average.

Stride instead, viewable from the bottom right panel, refers to the distance, expressed in cm, between one step and the other.

If the blue vertical bar fits the markers, your stride is in the average.

On the other hand, if it is longer or shorter than the marked area, then your stride will be longer or shorter than most people.

Remember that both parameters are determined and constantly updated in relation to the speed you are mantaining.

The cadence and the stride can be very useful, especially for those who enjoy running, whether they are amateurs or professionals. Through the aid of these two parameters, you can constantly monitor the rhythm of your gait, in order to improve your performance.

Deactivated biofeedback

If you no longer wish to see the Biofeedback panel, you can easily disable it through the following steps:

  1. Access to Technogym Live App main interface (Technogym Live App is available for both iOS and Android systems);
  2. Press on "Settings" at the bottom left (the one with the gear-shaped icon);
  3. From the "General" panel, scroll down until you find the voice "Equipment Setup";
  4. Within this area, select the Disable Cadence and Stride Biofeedback button.

After deactivating this last setting, the Biofeedback panel will no longer be visible on your training screen.

However, keep in mind that you can reactivate it anytime by following the same procedure.
